Teams were given 2 1/2 days to build their first robot. Wednesday teams competed in a double elimination format. Following competition students had an opportunity to redesign/rebuild their robot to do better and a second competition held after lunch on Friday.

Competition was loosely modeled around the OCCRA and FIRST robotics formats where students are given a game and challenged to build the best robot to compete. Seasoned robotics team students from the Monsters were on hand to mentor and help each team build the best robot. Pizza and vegetables with water was provided for lunch and each student received a Monster Robotics Work Shirt
